An update on the evening...

Yes, post-mimosas we are both doing well...one better than the other. As giggled by Angie, "It's just so hard to think right now!"

And yes, this would be Jessica with my second post to the blog in its existence.

Love lorn, we have actually had a mighty fine evening accompanied by Henry, our faithful companion. Get this... he is NAKED except for a beautiful garland of red tinsel hearts with a rose tucked behind his ear! Strong, steadfast (actually immobile), perky listening ears, dark caring eyes, toothy grin...Could we ask for someone better to share the evening with? I think not.

Now it's off to bed to read (maybe a few pages if I'm lucky) and then heading to sleep. I am looking forward to a relaxing long weekend while all of my students at school detox from their Valentine's sugar high. Let's just say we were all ready for the weekend at about 1:00 with 2hrs and 15 min left to go!

Don't be expecting any more posts from me any time soon. At this rate my next post will be Valentine's Day 2010 and let's just hope that one is a bit more productive in the romance department.

Coming soon... the night wear of Jess and Ang vintage 1995!

Pictures Continued

Yura, Tanya, Katie, me, and Ruslan led the children's program in Kramatorsk, Ukraine (summer 2005). This was a mission program sponsored by the Evangelical Free Church of Canada. The program was kind of in a Vacation Bible School format.Yura led the morning worship, Tanya recreation, Katie arts and crafts, I taught English and Ruslan led the Bible study. I was planning on returning this past summer but had my appendix removed. I would love to return again this summer and would appreciate your prayers in that area.

Here are many of the children that we served in Kramatorsk. It was an amazing blessing to see so many children come to know the Lord!

Katie and I in Kiev.

Posing in front of an ancient Roman statue at the Louvre. Katie and I visited the Louvre twice and saw only a fraction in 8 hours!

One of my favorite things in Paris was visiting the Catacombes. I left every thing untouched and did not try to steal any bones unlike some one I know, you know who you are =).

Jessica's hiking and travel adventures

Katie and I enjoying a hike on the Skyline Divide trail at Mt. Baker in August 2006.

The suspension bridge on the Carbon Glacier hike at Mt. Rainier with Kaylene from church - September 2006.

So, I was very excited to post my very first pictures on the blog (I have never done this before)! Unfortunately I did not realize how many little steps there were. It is now 10:30 pm, I am tired, Angie is tired, for the sake of our friendship I am going bed. We will have another lesson tomorrow. More pictures will be on the way soon.
